blog 2

A3D blog 2
To start my character off I decided, because of my plan to rig the character, I would need to save time on creating the geployes, so I decided to use a base mesh because it would take less time. However I would still need to heavily modify it as it would still need to look like the anime character instead of a realistic character.
To start off with I split to the base mesh in to pieces and began to modify the shape

I then processed to bulk up the arms like the concept character, and began to create to shoulder pad.

However when I decided to create the chest plate it the final result was not as good as I had hoped it would be.

Here was a second attempt, this time I tried using what was inside the base mesh and deleting some of the faces and re shaping it.

I made it larger in order to fit the model

I stared again as I wasn’t happy with it

I added more to it by making it bigger

I modified the shoulder pad however it still didn’t come out the way I wanted

I started to redo the shoulder pad and eventually I was happy with the result

I added more parts to the shoulder pad in order to get it looking more like the concept

To do this I extruded some of the faces and then used a change to the shape of a cube by adding edges and moving the verities.
