To finish the model off I mirrored the mesh, this was so it would be symertical like the concept.





After I decided to do the uv’s. I decided to start with the chest piece







I then clicked on cylindrical mapping






The u’v came out like this





After I selected the bottom wings top part I then clicked on planar mapping set to z






Here is the uv’s






I did the same with the other side





After I did the sides, with planar mapping on x






I then placed the uv’s like this





I then did the top and bottom parts with the option set to y






The uv’s so far looked like this






Afterwards I went to the top wings and set the uv’s option to z






This is what the uv’s looked like so far












To make the uv’s like this




I then selected the side pieces









I select automatic mapping






I did this with all of them in order to make to make the uv’s come out like this






Afterwards I worked on the belt and selected cylindrical mapping







I then placed the uv’s like this


After I selected the faces inside the belt and set the planar mapping on y






Here is what the uv’s look like so far






After I started work on the chest decorations





I did automatic mapping so the result was this






I selected the shoulder pad and did the same





Here was the result






I then selected the shoulder pad decorations





I selected spherical mapping to get the uv’s like this





After I started on the feathers





I selected automatic mapping to get this result




I then went onto the knee pads





I selected the spherical mapping option






After I selected the head





I started off with spherical mapping so I would be able to make adjustments





I then went over it





I then did another spherical mapping




After I selected the eyes





I then selected the other parts of the face






I selected automatic mapping







I then reposition the uv’s



At this point I stopped working on the piece (temporarily).
