Advance 3d blog 3
This week I
had to prepare for the presentation, what I included in my slides was the mood
boards for my character and diorama and my concepts I chose. I included my plan
as shown below
In the presentation
I talk about why I chose this concept which was because I was a fan of the
series and game when I was younger. The reason I picked the temple was because
the character appeared divine. I also spoke about the problems I would
encounter like amour deformation when rigging and skinning, also about how
getting the muscle anatomy right as well as light maps as they have always been
a problem for me.
Feedback
The feedback
wasn’t positive as the concept was very flat and was hard to see as a 3d model,
also my plan was very overlapping and hard to see. Another problem was spelling
mistakes on slides, as well as there not being enough detail in problems. A big
problem was there were not any images of my blockout diorama. I did make a
blockout as the images below show; however I wasn’t happy so I didn’t include
it in my slides.
What I learned
By doing
this presentation I learned how important it is to be organised and prepared
for a presentation as I did it in a rush and didn’t get the best of my work in.
I plan to use the experience and feedback I got in order to be more prepared
and also practice what I say in actual presentation in the industry
